We need your help!
We are short on volunteers and overloaded on the number of cats who need homes. We are looking for help at the residence that the rescue is based. On Saturdays we do a full cleaning, washing and litter swap starting at 9AM. During the rest of the week, we need assistance with day-to-day activities starting around 12:30PM. These include cleaning up small messes in cages, scooping litter, collecting and cleaning all dishes, emptying and replacing water, filling dry food, giving fresh wet food, medicating, and socializing cats. If you have time to also play with the cats and socialize them, that is a huge plus!

The need for socializing
The best perk? You get to play with the cats at your convenience! Many of the cats need socializing. We’ve found that interactive play, treats and spending time with them work best. When we received over a dozen cats from a hoarding situation, many of them were not properly socialized. A volunteer worked with them several times a week to gain their trust. Their new families are happy to have them!
